About

Jen Bitner

“I believe in the ability of every child and enjoy helping them learn to appreciate their own worth and value. Working with children is the most rewarding part of my day. Each child has something to contribute as an individual. Everyone learns differently. I love thinking about how the human brain works and coaching a child on how to find the keys to unlocking their greater potential.” Helping a child succeed academically is a team effort, but it starts with a foundation of trust. Because it is common that academic and organizational struggles trigger an emotional response, it is critical that the child and I establish a trusting relationship and positive connection. That foundation then allows us to identify and acknowledge the situation in a safe, non-judgmental way and gives the child confidence, accountability and ownership of their learning journey.
